Now that the Bedrock platform is moving to the new Render Dragon, third party Bedrock shaders are no longer possible – so RTX is now your only hope of using shaders on Bedrock. However, if you’re on Bedrock, then that’s a different story. If you’re a user of Java, then this guide isn’t necessary – there are plenty of great shaders created by the community which don’t need specific graphics cards to run. Not to worry – we’re here to show you exactly how in this tutorial. 2 years on, however, and it’s still frustratingly difficult to actually use these new features – even if you have the right graphics card. I recommend renaming them to avoid confusion if your importing more than one template's resource pack.In late 2020, to much fanfare, Minecraft released the official RTX (ray tracing) update to the Bedrock platform – giving newfound graphical capabilities to users with RTX-capable graphics cards. You then paste the template resource packs there (you also have to paste the behaviour pack if there is one in the behavior back folder). Once you know which one is which, grab the resource pack from the resource pack folder (make sure that if theres a behavior pack you import that too) and then go back to LocalState and press games then com.mojang and then find resource packs. Their names are all random so to find which one is which look at the world_icon jpeg. If you want the resource pack from a template, to go into premium_cache then world_templates. once you click on it, click LocalState and you have two options from here. From there find the Packages file and go into it, and find Microcrosoft.MinecraftUWP. To make it simple, write %appdata% and then the directory will auto bring you to Roaming so you back out and to into Local.
